Sara Trosty Walsh, LCSW
Sara Trosty Walsh, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience in psychotherapy, specializing in mental health and substance abuse. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Work, Sara has developed expertise in areas such as domestic abuse, narcissistic abuse recovery, sexual abuse, trauma, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. She is also adept at supporting individuals coping with cancer and chronic illnesses. As a two-time cancer survivor, Sara brings a unique perspective to her practice, deeply understanding the challenges associated with diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.​

A Bit About Sara
Sara's therapeutic approach emphasizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, aiding clients in transforming their thought patterns and perceptions to facilitate significant positive changes in their lives. While focusing on the present, she also values the importance of understanding one's background and personal history as essential components of the healing process.​
Known for her warm, compassionate, and interactive counseling style, Sara is dedicated to truly listening to her clients and meeting them where they are. Clients often express appreciation for her straightforward and honest approach, frequently noting, "You tell it like it is, Sara. That is why I like working with you." She takes pride in guiding her clients toward achieving their goals and improving their mental health and well-being.​

Outside of her professional life, Sara is the mother of two adult children, a Great Dane named Paris and a cat named Freddie. She enjoys cooking, socializing with friends and family, practicing yoga, walking, attending live music events, being outdoors, and volunteering at the Great Dane Rescue of South Florida.​

Whitney Cherner, LCSW
Whitney Cherner, LCSW, is a seasoned and compassionate therapist who believes in the transformative power of self-discovery and resilience. With over two decades of experience, Whitney is passionate about empowering her clients to uncover their inner strength and take meaningful steps toward becoming the next best version of themselves. She specializes in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and personal growth.

Dr. Jonathan Beer, DSW, LCSW
Dr. Jonathan Beer, Doctor of Social Work (DSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), has over 10 years of experience in the field. His experience includes working with trauma survivors, and individuals who experience anxiety and depression. Dr. Beer also offers relationship counseling, using an IMAGO therapy approach. IMAGO therapy provides a way for each person in the relationship to feel heard and understood by using a dialogue and mirroring. Dr. Beer has been EMDR trained since 2023 and completed IMAGO Couples and relationship therapy training modules I, II and III.

Dr. Beer is fluent in Hebrew and English.

Coming from a Trauma Informed Care background, safety and trust are Dr. Beer’s priorities, as healing can only truly begin when we feel safe. Dr. Beer strives to collaborate with you. By working together, you will establish goals and objectives and find ways to achieve them.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Beer is a cat dad to two wonderful cats who allow him to live with them in exchange for food and entertainment. Dr. Beer loves to travel, is a self-described “movie buff” and enjoys reading and sometimes writing. ​

Jennifer Bagwell, LCSW
Jennifer Bagwell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of dedicated experience specializing in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. Throughout her career, she has supported individuals facing challenges related to toxic relationships, trauma and sexual abuse, chronic illness, grief and loss, parenting issues, and eating disorders. Her practice often involves helping clients navigate life transitions, resolve interpersonal conflicts, and address age-related concerns.

In her sessions, Jen employs evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, stress management, relaxation strategies, and motivational interviewing. Her goal is to empower clients to adapt to transitions while alleviating symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Jen’s counseling approach is both interactive and supportive. Many clients express that working with her has deepened their self-awareness and improved their ability to manage life's challenges. Building authentic relationships is a priority for her, and she considers it a privilege to assist others on their journeys.

Outside of her professional life, Jen is a proud mother to one wonderful child, a rescue dog, and a rescue cat. She cherishes her time spent reading, traveling, and enjoying moments with her family. A favorite quote of hers by Hermann Hesse resonates deeply: “I have always believed, and still believe, that whatever good or bad fortune may come our way we can always give it meaning and transform it into something of value.” This belief underscores her conviction that growth and opportunity exist within every experience.

Meet Yim, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nine years of diverse experience in clinical, educational, and direct service roles. She is passionate about supporting women and marginalized groups affected by trauma and abuse, as well as individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and unhealthy relationships.

Yim adopts a client-centered, trauma-informed approach that is both empowering and compassionate. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), grounding techniques, and coping skills, all aimed at helping clients combat negative thinking, discover their inner strength, and foster healing.

Yim is fluent in English and Spanish.
Her clients frequently express gratitude for her non-judgmental demeanor and her ability to create a safe space for open dialogue during challenging times. Yim firmly believes that everyone is the expert of their own lives and deserves dignity and respect. She reassures her clients that they are not alone, that they are seen and loved. Together, they work to build self-awareness, reframe negative thoughts, cultivate healthy coping strategies, and achieve personal goals.
